We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate with experience in telecommunications to perform sales activities for ManagedWay’s Cloud Computing, Fiber Optic Internet, and Colocation services. You will collaborate with other dynamic and result-oriented individuals on the Sales Team to meet ambitious sales goals and to grow company revenues.
Leading and performing sales activities (direct to business) for all Cloud Computing, Fiber Optic Internet, and Colocation products and offerings.
Assisting the Sales Team in the acquisition of new customers in addition to the development of existing customer relationships.
Interfacing with engineering staff, project managers, marketing staff, and other team members as needed.
Processing customers sales and order requests timely and accurately.
Resolving customer account issues.
Assisting with responses to bids, RFQs, RFPs, and other customer requests.
Actively participating in the Sales Team’s plans to ensure revenue growth and improve market share.
Collaborating with the Sales Team to meet assigned team quotas for sales, profits, and strategic objectives.
Having brand awareness and enthusiasm for the company’s services.
Keeps up to date on technology trends and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
5+ years of strong sales experience with 3 years of industry experience (Internet Service Provider, Cloud Services Provider, or Colocation Services Provider).
Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to display positive attitudes and behaviors, which demonstrate an awareness and willingness to meet customers’ needs, requirements, and expectations.
Working knowledge of telecommunications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Great problem solving skills.
Some travel required.
Strong time management skills.
Must have initiative and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
